Its Sunday today and it's raining season where I am staying in Malaysia. So, today I am back with a review on skincare rather than makeup which is the Tony Moly Aloe Daily Fresh Sheet Mask. Tony Moly is a Korean brands which is quite affordable for those who love to use sheet masks everyday or maybe twice or thrice per week. Sheet mask basically soaked with all the essence and all those good stuff to boosts your skin with hydration in 15-20 minutes. It normally leaves your skin feel very soft, smooth and supple.

Aloe Daily Fresh Mask Sheet

This is the packaging of the sheet masks.

Inside of the packaging, it contains 10 pcs of sheet masks. As you can see from the picture above, you can see that i am left with 1 pcs of this masks. So, I have been using it for some time. In fact, this is my second packet of this sheet masks. The sheet mask is in a resealable bag but the masks will not dry out eventhough I have opened it for a month at least.

The material of this sheet mask is a soft cotton. It is quite a thick cotton compared to the more expensive masks from Tony Moly.

As you can see, the mask does not fit my face perfectly at the nose area, but I have a wide nose . Its fine for me. But the rest of my face is covered by the sheet mask pretty well. But if you have a larger face than me, I dont think this sheet mask will be able to cover your whole face perfectly. 

My review

 I would rate this mask a 7/10

Advantages

• It is definitely hydrating.
• After removing the mask, it does not leave a sticky residue which most affordable masks tend to do so, and I hated that feeling of stickiness on my face.
• It does not dry out even after opening, but you must seal it after usage.
• It is easy to apply, it does not slip and slide around you face, which means that you can walk around with the masks on your face without worrying that it will fall off your face.
• It does leave your face soft and supple with lots of moisture on your face.
• It is easy to store as it is all in this one packaging where I can keep or bring around for travelling easily.
• Really affordable

Disadvantages

• It contains fragrance and it did not state that it is phthalate free. Phthalate is a component used in Fragrance and it allows the company to state 'Fragrance' instead of the ingredients that they used for the fragrance. The fragrance on this masks is not over-powering. it has a slight scent of Aloe Vera (Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel) but it is not the natural smell of aloe vera though. It is fine for me.
• The size of the mask is a little too small where my upper lips and nose are not fully covered by the mask. I am afraid that someone who has a larger face size than me would not be able to cover their whole face perfectly in this mask.
• It may not be hygenic as it is all stored in one packaging where you opened and seal it many times before you are able to use finish all the 10 pieces of the mask.

Recommentdations:

This mask will be perfect for those who just started out using sheet masks. It is a really good mask to start as it is not sticky but also hydrating enough. If you are looking for a mask that will brighten your skin complexion, this is not the mask for you. This is mainly just for hydration. I do not recommend to use it daily as too much of something is not a good thing. For daily use, I would recommend to use different types of masks instead of one type of masks. This mask is also really affordable and easily obtained online or in stores.

Today I will be reviewing the lipstick from Shu Uemura. It is the ROUGE UNLIMITED SHEER SHINE lipstick. Shu Uemura is a Japanese brand which is popular for the CLEANSING OIL. I am going to review this soon but I can tell you that I used the purple, blanc chroma and the pink one which is the sine-free version, both are really awesome but I love the purple one a little bit better. Now, back to the lipstick.

My review on this lipstick will be rated a 8/10.

Advantages:

• It does live up to the claim that it is moisturizing. It does not dry up my lips even though I wore it for more than 8 hours on my lips, It is like a tinted lip balm but of course not as moisturising as a lip balm as well as not as healing.
• It is not highly pigmented but it is not a lipstick that has a poor pigmentation as well. With this lipstick, you won't get a full pigmentation on a single swipe. It is not that sheer that when you put it on, it gets streaky and hard to build and layer up. It layers beautifully and it is a lipstick that you can reapply without a mirror.
• It is definitely lightweight. If you know how a lip balm feels like, it is just like putting on a lip balm. It has that emollient texture which most shiny lipstick do have which is good as it is not as drying as a matte lipstick.
• It does not cling to dry patches on the lips. Because it is quite emollient, it is really easy to glide across the lips. I have no problem using this even though I have dry patches on my lips. It is quite forgiving on my lips.
• I love the colour CR350. To me, it is a corally-red colour which suits all skin-tone. The colour is really unique to this lipstick. I never seen other lipstick with this colour. It is pink, with a little red and orange at the same time. On my pigmented lips, it came out more to a dark pink but the color differs with how pigmented is your lips.

Disadvantages:

• It is not a long-wearing lipstick. If you are looking for something that you can wear for 2 to 3 hours without fading, this will not be the lipstick for you. After eating, i will have to reapply and even without eating, it does not last on me. ( I tend to smack my lips a lot ). A long-lasting lipstick are mostly drying, so this will not be ideal if you need a lipstick that will last whole day without touching up.
• It can bleed on my lip line. I have no idea why lipstick tends to bleed on me, but this do bleed but just a tiny bit. It is fine for me, because it look fine as it is not that obvious but you can fill in your lips with a MAC PROLONGWEAR lip liner to solve this problem.
• It is quite expensive for a lipstick. Retailing at $30 in the US and RM88 in Malaysia.

Price point: 

• $30/RM124 (Conversion of USD to MYR)
• RM88 in Malaysia

My recommendation for those who wants this lipstick:

Definitely purchase the colour CR350 as this is the most unique colour in the bunch. For those that are travelling to Malaysia, you should drop by to Shu Uemura counter to purchase this as it is cheaper. Basically, most HIGH-END makeup are cheaper in Malaysia compared to the US. Ie, Chanel, Burberry and Dior are definitely few of the high-end brands that you should shop if you are form the US/UK to Malaysia.

Hello  again.  How was your day? 

Let's start with my first review on high end product which is from my favourite brand which is SHU UEMURA. Shu Uemura is a Japan branded skin care and cosmetics which has been here for decades. They are well-known for the cleansing oil which i will be reviewing later.

 I bought this from Shu Uemura store which is located in The Spring in Kuching. It retails at RM95.40 including GST here in Malaysia. One thing i love about Shu Uemura is that at their websites, you are able to check all the pricing and to know what you are buying before you go to the counter and ask. I love the sales assistant at The Spring as she is very friendly and very kind and she is happy to assist you in any way possible as long as you ask. Any new product from Shu Uemura, she would recommend it to me and let me try it on the spot which is really appreaciate. Please drop to a Shu Uemura where you are staying and check out their products as I love them.

Below is the picture how my product look like when i first bought it. I am a beauty junkie so i do not mind about the prices of things i bought. 

This is the face mist which is actually made from deepsea water, I know you will be curious about what is deepsea water. Let me just elaborate it a little, it is from the deepest sea in Japan where the water is said to be pure from any impurities of the environment. The scent that i chose is Bergamot as it is for me the most acceptable scent from the whole collection aside for the fragrance-free ones. Bergamot is a type of citrus which has a pleasant smell. Benefits will be listed down below.

Deep-sea water is taken from the depth of the ocean where sunlight does not reach, at 200 meters. completely free of artificial color, natural aromatic extracts are then added to become lightly scented mists that rejuvenate and hydrate the skin, hair and body. eight herbal aromas provide refreshing feel to be use at anytime.

Bergamot is known as uplifting and sweet. It is known for its uplifting character, It has a warm, spicy floral note of citrus.Iit is known for being a key ingredient in the original eau de cologne created in the 18th-century Germany.

Ingredients :

sea water , methylparaben , linalool , parfum / fragrance

After spraying on the back of my hand, you can see the mist and also smell the smell of Bergamot which is really REFRESHING. As soon as I sprayed it on the back of my hand, there is a cooling effect which is really refreshing. Immediately, I tried spraying it onto my face and it is indeed refreshing and I felt as if i am AWAKE. The mist is really fine so it wont take long to absorb into your skin at moisturise your skin.

After a few second, the mist absorbs into my skin and it does feel SMOOTH and SUPPLE. On my face, it does feels the same. What I love about this face mist, it can be sprayed after and before applying make-up. Both I have tried and the effect are the same which leave your face fresh and supple. Whats more, after a long day of work or studying, with a little spray using this, it will make your makeup look fresh as if you just reapply it. Another thing I love about it is that it can be used through out your body when ever you feel dry and certain area. I normally would use this when I am in airplane as the air inside the airplane tend to dry my skin.

How to :

From what I learnt from the sales assistant, after spraying this to your face or any part of your body, DO NOT touch it as our hands contains bacteria so instead just let it dry on its own.

Pros : 

It smells nice but it does not linger for long. Just a nice scent to make you feel rejuvenated.

It does make my skin feel smooth and supple.

It does refresh my makeup.

It absorbs quickly into the skin.

Cons :

It is indeed expensive.

It is quite bulky to bring it in your handbag and clutch. I wish they have a small refillable spray bottle which can be easily put into a clutch to bring it together during dinner.

Contains methylparaben which is quite harmful to human.

Would I repurchase?

Currently NO but maybe when they do not put methylparaben, I would repurchase over and over agin without hesitation. :)

Nivea Extra White Firming Body Serum SPF33

Hi ladies out there.
Today I am back with my second review which is about a body lotion which i have been using for around 2 months now. Its the Nivea Extra White Firming Body Serum. Have you try it out? I did so I am going to review about this product.

So this is what the lotion look like and from the packaging it states that :

This is what the lotion looks like when i squeeze it out from the bottle. Its very white as it contains sunscreen. The texture is is watery and not as creamy as other lotion and that's what makes it loght weight.

So, after blending it on the back of my hand, it has a cooling sensation with a light smell which is very pleasant and relaxing.

After blending it to my skin, it really does absorb fast and keep the back of my hand feel moisturised and comfortable. It definitely do not feel heavy or greasy even after vigorous activity and sweating. The scent however fades really fast so it won't bother those who are sensitive with scents.

Pros :
It really does feel light and non-sticky/greasy.
It is not expensive.
It has sunscreen which is important to protect your skin from the sun.
It does moisturise the skin really well.
It does smoothen out the skin since I have a few rough patches around my body, it seems to reduce it.

Cons :
In 14 days, I will have radiant and fairer skin, I don't think its true as I have been using it every morning but did not see any significant changes.
Does not fade dark spots. I have dark spots but it doesnt seems to lighten or diminished for that matter.
It has sunscreen, so it is not wearable at night as your skin does not need sunscreen at night, so, let your skin breathe a little while to put a more nourishing moisturiser instead of things it does not need.

Recommendation ;
I would recommend this lotion to those who wants a lotion with sunscreen but do not mind about dark spots. If you want to get rid of the dark spots or be fair and radiant skin, this is not for you. I would recommend those who would like to get rid of dark spots, uneven skin tone, stretched marks to use bio-oil which actually works.

Would I repurchase?
No as there is many more lotions and body butter that I would like to try till i find my HOLY GRAIL!!

Dear Darling Tint is a lip tint which is kinda a trend in Korea for gradient or ombre lips and lip tint usually gives a natural looking lips.

From the website, it is suppose to be a long lasting liptint. Let's start the review down below.

From the picture above, there is an applicator and this applicator does a good job of extracting a decent amount of product. So I am really pleased with it. This lip tint is more of a jelly-like consistency but also watery when spread to your lips or cheek. Since it is a lip tint, I tend to use this on the lips as well as a blush. 

This is the swatch of it. The colour on the left is Vampire Red and the colour on the right is Orange Red. The swatches on the left is when the colour is being blend and can be used as a blush. Look at how Natural it looks when u blend it out. It looks like your natural skin and gives your face a flush of colour. :)

After wiping the swatches with a tissue, it seems to stain my skin really well. It shows it is quite a long lasting lip tint right? That is a good thing for a lip tint which just give you a flush of colour to that beautiful and gorgeous face of yours. Now, for the LIP SWATCH!

 With Vampire Red, it may look very purple-ish colour but when you put in on, it is nore to a darker red.

 This is the Orange Red which is more to a peachy colour which is the trend in Korea and also colour if the summer. It is a very soft look.

Me loving the colour of Orange Red the most. So, to the overall conclusion :

Pros :

Long-lasting, it lasted me through eating and drinking but not till whole day bit i still can live with that.

It can be used as a blusher which makes it as a 2 in 1 kinda thing which is money saving. :)

The packaging is small and easily slip into the purse so I can touch up anytime and anywhere I want!!

Cons :

It can be a little sticky after putting it on but as it dries, the stickiness disappears.

It has a certain taste which is awful to me and a scent more to a berry-like scent which is quite strong and might irritate those that are sensitive towards smell.

It can settle into fine lines and if u have chapped lips, it will settled into the flaky skin and makes your lips looks like it hurts more than it is.

Recommendation : 

I would recommend this to those that have lips that are not chapped, dry or does not have much of fine lines. But if you are still interested in this lip tint, you can still get it as it can be used as a blush which i always use.
